Today I went to.... (April 9)

Today I went to another art festival, but this one was a whole lot bigger. It had so many booths, from painting to metalworking to carving and robots made of antique parts. There were even a couple booths that had hand-made clothing items; I saw a lady that hand-painted silk! We walked around the park for a while, and then we decided to have lunch. My little brother got a corn dog, and I got a teriyaki chicken bowl with rice and cooked veggies. After I ate that delicious meal, we went around in a circle until we found our shuttle bus. Once it dropped us off at the Marta station (today was my first time riding Marta), we rode the train back to the car and went home. Though I didn't but anything (most of it was paintings), I had a lot of fun.

Today I went to....(April 8)

Hello everyone! Today I went to an art festival, and it was AMAZING. I saw glass-blowing, jewelry, Caricatures, hand-painted signs, and so much more! My friend and I got a Caricature, and I looked so funny! The dude even drew the amethyst dream-catcher earrings that I just happened to be wearing that day. I gave it to my friend, who had the idea in the first place. I got a GORGEOUS bracelet with-wait for it-WINGS! I know, I know. But it CALLED to me! It was only $12, and I must say I'm surprised. The wings were black, with 2 semicircles of fake diamonds in them. They look SO real, though. When I held the bracelet up to the light, they shimmered so brightly! I'll post the picture tomorrow. Afterwards, I went to my friend's house to hang out. So fun!

About Me #2

I promised I would share more about me, and here it is! I have two brothers and a dog- a little brother and a twin brother. My dog's name is Buster, he's 2 years old, and he's ADORABLE!!! I will definitely post pictures of him in later posts. My hobbies are archery, drawing, and writing. I also have a new hobby--blogging, of course! I am enjoying posting on my blog and I hope you guys like it! My favorite food is hamburgers and french fries with oranges. My favorite dessert is ice cream cake. My favorite things to do are play on my iPad, draw, or write. I also like reading.

Today I went to....(April 7)

Hi everyone! Today I went to the Tellus Science Museum, and I had LOADS of fun. First we went to gem panning and the fossil dig, where I found a super cool shark's tooth. Then we went to the kid's center, where they had a sound exhibit. You could go inside a "scream chamber" and it measured the decibels of your scream. These 4 girls went in, and together their screams measured 114.4. Then I went in, and my scream alone measured 114.8. So that's why when I scream, my dad always complains that I give him a headache! Anyway, after that we went outside to the pavilion and had a lunch of grilled cheese and an apple with Coke. We went back inside and headed over to the gift shop. We found a bunch of great things; I alone spent $50 there. Hey, what can I say? They have great stuff. I got 2 pairs of earrings and a really pretty vintage cross. Here is the photo:

About Me #1

I was thinking that since you're going to read my blog, you should know a little bit about me. I love drawing; I've been drawing since I was in Kindergarten. I also like writing. Right now I'm working on a story about a girl who gets wings. I love fashion, and I want to be a fashion designer when I grow up. I will be posting some of my doodles; they are mainly people(girls). I'm working on how to draw boys.  I like the book series Maximum Ride by James Patterson. They are about kids who are genetically modified at birth to have wings. Yes, I know. Why the wings? I just think it would be amazing to be able to fly like that. I'm not so good at poems; I think I'll leave that to the experts. My favorite color is aqua. It's very soothing. I like pop music, classical/hip-hop, Christian music, and rock n roll. My favorite artists are TobyMac, Lindsey Stirling, and 2cellos. I also play the cello.
